Chet Anekwe

Born in Lagos, Nigeria, and raised in Queens, New York City, Chet now calls Southern California, home.  His work spans Hollywood, Nigeria Film and New York theater. 

Acting Career

This award winning, transatlantic actor plays Efe Omowale on the show “Tyler Perry's Assisted Living” on BET.

Chet can also be seen in episodes of Bob Hearts Abishola, How To Get Away With Murder, Scorpion, and The Affair.  And more recently voicing the character “Goodluck” in the Netflix Animated Series, Captain Fall.

IT Professional

Chet is also seasoned IT professional with over 35 years of experience in the technology. Working in multiple roles from Business Analyst to Sr Application Developer and eventually Lead Business Technologist, he focused on the development of software solutions and business process. In the new streaming age, he is also well versed in video editing and loves providing this services to hos fellow actors!
